As being heated, Eu2+ will be oxidized to Eu3+ then make the PL pigment lose its glowing property. Such losing is permanent and irreversible. Yellow green items start changing at 500°C and will rapidly change @850°C,  blue green items start changing @800°C and will rapidly change @1050°C.
